Redesigning the SIS website

To cater to the persona of a busy professional looking to upgrade his skills at SMU's School of Information Systems, I was tasked to redesign the website.

The most challenging aspect of this exercise was to make the content of the website 'findable'. To achieve this, I utilized the following UX Design tools:

  • User interviews
  • Content strategy
  • Information Architecture design
  • Wireframing
  • Usability testing
  • Prototyping

In the final iteration, I managed to reduce the main links on the home page from 8 to 5. The links are also now clearly defined for the visitors so that there is less need to figure out the navigation of the website.

Take a look at the prototype here.
